Student Research Symposium

Published

March 31, 2026

Big congrats to Taisiya, Nathan, Sean, and Lindsey for their presentations at the Student Research and Community Engagement Symposium!

Taisiya and Nathan presented work from their summer project on acclimation in a widespread cyclopoid copepod.

Sean presented some new work from the lab on how temperature affects respiration rates of copepods in Boston Harbor. Stay tuned for more on this project!

Lindsey presented some data on copepod occurrence across Cape Cod, extracted from historical records. This data provides a historical baseline for evaluating changes over time. ZEAL will be out re-surveying some of these sites this summer - stay tuned for more on this project as well!

Lindsey also got a nice feature on the Kennedy College of Sciences social media post for the event!
